What is Creative Action?

Designed in 2018 and led by our Creative Action Coordinator and South Philly teens/young adults, these sessions offered neighbors and visitors the opportunity to experience Aquinas Center’s mission while collectively exploring an issue that impacts our community. Each session lasted between 90 minutes and two hours. The Creative Action series was inspired by the successful Monarcas Project, which engaged over 450 people and generated 3,200 origami butterflies that speak to the theme “Migration is Natural.”

What’s next?

Future workshops will be available for Encounter groups visiting Aquinas Center or adapted for off-site programming at parishes, faith communities, high schools, universities, professional development spaces, and more.
